We meet on a Wednesday Evening.
July 2011
Please make sure that an adult brings your child to the door of the Scout hut, just in case a leader is not present.
During a Beaver meeting we play games, sing songs, and are very creative and most important HAVE FUN.
We also take part in many district events e.g. football tournament, Sports Day, District fun day, District outings, Christmas Party, and we have a Family camp every year.
When your son/daughter has made their promise they will be allocated to a lodge, this is indicated by the colour of their woggle that they are given.
We start the evening by standing in a horseshoe shape and the register is taken.
The evening ends by singing our colony prayer, (which your child will learn)
What to Wear Please do not purchase a Beaver Uniform until your son/daughter is invested into the group. He/She should wear comfortable play clothes and sensible shoes.

Financial help is available for Beavers to attend outside activities who would otherwise be unable to take part. Also, if you have a problem with paying the subscriptions at any time, please contact a Leader in strictest confidence. Your child will never be excluded if there is a genuine hardship.
Please email
michelleturner.1@ntlworld.com or pennymarjoram@sky.com if you would like information on joining the group.
Moving to CubsWhen transferring to the Cub Pack Beavers are asked to partcipate in a 3-4 week transition period where they attend both Beavers and Cub meetings. This takes place when they reach the age of 8. You will receive a letter from the Cub leader just before their 8th birthday.More information is available from the Beaver Scout Leader and the Cub Scout Leader
